Derived from the Japanese word for precision, Kiru is an exploration of exactness in both form and craft. The tray’s faceted surface is composed of carefully cut veneer panels, arranged to create a seamless geometric composition that celebrates the natural direction and tonal variation of the wood grain.
Each segment is individually aligned, allowing the veneer to shift gently across planes, catching light differently through the day and revealing the quiet depth of the material. Solid wood legs frame the composition, offering both contrast and tactility. Thoughtfully constructed, Kiru is a study in restraint, where precision becomes the defining aesthetic.
